What's with all the hoopla about 3d movies, television shows, video games, pictures etc I mean 3D has been around for years, why is it only now that we have to invest in it. At various Universal studios there is a Terminator attraction that has been there done that for the past 14 years. The first one was released at the Orlando park in Spring 1996, then three years later it was released at the Hollywood park and then 2001 in the Japan park. It is called T2 3-D: Battle Across Time and it is one of the first 3-D (cinema styled) attraction I have seen.

What made this unique is that it mixed live action into the mixed so you had actors making you feel like you were a part of the attraction. Also James Cameron had an hands on approach when it came to this so it isn't a lazy spin off, it actually is canon to the plot that happens after T2: Judgement day. He stated in an interview about why certain terminators had to be used and wrote some of the story for this short film

Also the main cast of the original film reprised their roles for the on screen parts which made it feel like an genuine part of the franchise.

The attraction has been around for many years and there are rumors that it might not be around for that much longer so if you are into this 3-D craze then why don't you try to get to one of these parks and experience one of the originators (imo) of 3D cinema.
